Introducing HSP's Summer 2022 Interns!

In honor of National Intern Day, we’re highlighting our summer 2022 interns! HSP is currently hosting four interns, across varying departments and backgrounds.


Philip Foglia is the Archives Intern at HSP. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Historical Studies from Stockton University and a master’s degree in Archaeology and Near Eastern Cultures from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Philip previously worked as a substitute teacher. Last summer, he worked at the Franklin Institute and currently works at Temple University Hospital. His interests include old books, ceramics, and Star Trek.


Grace Haupt is a Programs and Communications intern at HSP. She is a rising third year at Haverford College, pursuing a bachelor’s in History with minors in Creative Writing and Classical Culture and Society. At Haverford, Grace serves on the DASH (Disability Advocacy for Students at Haverford) leadership board and Student Council. Her interests include reading anything and everything.


Emma Hirt is HSP’s Programs Assistant Co-op. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Global Studies with minors in English, Writing and French at Drexel University, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2023. She has previously completed co-ops at the National Board of Medical Examiners and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. She currently works as a peer tutor at the Drexel Writing Center. Her interests include reading and writing.


Allegra Quimby is the Development Intern at HSP. Allegra is a rising junior at The Baldwin School. Allegra plays for Baldwin’s soccer team. Her interests include reading books about astrophysics.


HSP is grateful to its interns for their dedication, hard work, and eagerness to learn. Under staff mentorship, HSP’s interns offer new perspectives and insights.
